For these homeowners, they conclusively solved this conundrum by creating their own version of Shangri-la much closer to home. Fashioned after a stately French chateau, their breathtaking house, nestled along the banks of Lake Norman in North Carolina, captures all the time-revered luxuries and amenities that could possibly be assembled in one domain.
