When a pair of homeowners looked around their Greensboro brick colonial home and determined that it was time for a cosmetic update, they turned to Kindred Interior Studios. Having lived in the home for 20 years, they’d become accustomed to the existing layout and Kindred was able to suggest more effective ways to use their space with a new, larger floorplan.
The design team was inspired by the clients’ love of color, so a bold green island grounds the kitchen and contrasts with the white cabinets. New windows were added for additional natural light. The new layouts allow the rooms to function better with more storage and amenities, letting the aesthetics shine.
