Known for its bold-colored brand of luxe, the Colony Hotel Palm Beach has been an iconic destination since 1947. What was once a smart second home for statesmen, movie stars, and the town’s chicest residents, Palm Beach’s pinkest hotel resides in the heart of the city and boasts its proximity to the world’s best restaurants and shopping.
In 2016 Andrew and Sarah Wetenhall acquired The Colony, and their mission was to infuse the hotel with Old Florida charm. They worked closely with de Gournay to create a custom mural that embodies the whimsy and humor of The Colony. Celebrated design firm Kemble Interiors added the furnishings, resulting in a lobby that is inviting and resplendent in color. In addition, Aerin Lauder also added her design acumen to a villa on the property.
The hotel sits only a few feet from the sand, which makes it easy for the catering team to provide guests with service right against the surf. The Colony’s Beach Butler is available to deliver gourmet bites and beverages along with all the dishware and ice. Guest services and amenities also include golf, tennis, boating, fitness center, salon and spa, and babysitting.
Guests can also enjoy a bite of the best cuisine in Palm Beach without ever leaving the comfort of the resort. You’ll be served three meals, and snacks, each day at the variety of stylish bars and restaurants while the executive chef adds new and creative touches to every menu.
