“A good design should embrace a communal sense of style by creating spaces that tell a story; they should be classic, meaningful, and fine, yet highly livable,” Flanigan says of her design philosophy. “These are gathering spots where families and friends will continue to make lasting, lifetime memories. With this project, we enhanced that communal sense of style by opening everything up, creating spaces that are defined by purpose yet fluidly connected through use.”

“With a strong focus on creating the organic, spa-inspired environment the Zizinias were looking for, our team did everything we could to bring the beauty of the outdoors in,” says Flanigan. To improve the view of the home’s courtyard in nearly every common area, steel doors and windows were installed.

The project was extensive— encompassing renovations of the master suite, kitchen, entry, dining, and living rooms—but the magnitude of the transformation matches the effort. Says Flanigan, “The interior is now balanced by the architecture of the space, and soothing colors, organic textures, and unique combinations of light are combined to create a timeless, sophisticated environment.”
