The dining room’s green and white holiday décor sets the stage for the Randlemans’ annual gatherings of family and friends. “We prefer using natural elements like cedar, fir, and flowers that are associated with this special time of year,” Lynn says. “Because architect David Baker designed our home with such clean lines and straightforward materials, we approach our holiday decorating in the same manner—adding just enough for effect.”

In keeping with the home’s Southern appeal, Sullivan selected indigenous materials, such as magnolia leaves, pine branches, and mixed-green garlands, to accentuate the couple’s furnishings and accessories. Stems of amaryllis, white roses, and paperwhites also weave their way into the arrangements, particularly at the dining room table. Here, the tray light fixture above serves as the ideal staging area for flowers and trimmings alike. “True to Richard and Gary’s signature aesthetics, our home is filled with neutral tones. Bringing in all the greenery just enhances it,” Lynn says. “There’s just nothing like walking into the house and smelling freshly cut trimmings!”
