(SH): What are some new twists in decorating your home and table for the holidays?
(DP): I am a traditionalist and not into trends. I like a classic approach in holiday decor, timeless – trends always come and go.

(SH): What china do you use for your own holiday gatherings?
(DP): Limoges China with a delicate gold trim paired with Chrysanthemum silverware by Tiffany & Co.

(SH): Three timeless tips for throwing a great holiday party at home?
(DP):

  • Keep it simple.
  • Have a seated dinner, being mindful of your seating arrangement. Don’t be afraid to mix it up.
  • Have fun with it! Don’t put too much pressure on yourself.  The holidays are stressful enough!
